AAFCA 2010 FILM FESTIVAL & ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING
Cinema in Diversity is a panel discussion led by a member of AAFCA that explores the concept of diversity in contemporary cinema.
Definition of Diversity: The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences. It is the exploration
of these differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. This panel discussion will explore what role cinema can play to arrive at understanding each other and moving beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within each individual.
